Our Services

Pembrokeshire Estate Management

D Lewis Countryside were recently appointed to support a local estate with their woodland management.

The majority of the timber on the estate had become mature and was threatening utility services and adjacent property. Our team of expert staff identified the best route to fell the trees allowing the remaining woodland to thrive and regenerate.

The excess timber was taken off the estate to be processed.

Vegetation Managment in Wales

D Lewis Countryside hold a number of contracts with leading forestry companies across Wales.

Each autumn, the team are appointed to visit each of the sites across Wales for vegetation management. The team work with side arm and rear-mounted flails to trim the road sides, with the trimmings being mulched and returned back to the forest floor.

Effective vegetation management allows the machines ease of access through the tracks, protects the integrity of the road and ensures work stays on track all year round.
